RE-CAP:
EPISODE #912 "ANYONE WHO HAD A HEART"
Last night's episode got a lot mixed reactions among
the OTH fans on Twitter. Some love it, others not so
much. Below are a few reviews and re-caps. What did
you think?
**NOTE: Almost
every article is spoiler-ish if you haven't watched

FAREWELL TREE HILL - A PIECE OF THE RIVER COURT
It hasn't fully hit us yet that there is only ONE
episode ever left of One Tree Hill. Next week is
going to be extremely emotional. Yesterday, almost
all day we saw nothing by One Tree Hill memories
being tweeted left and right, many media friends
posting their pieces of the River Court. We got
especially emotional when we opened our own mail to
find a special "thank you" from The WB as well. Our
very own authentic piece of the River Court, *sigh*
we don't want it to end. But all good things must
come to an end right?

For those asking where to get a piece of the court
like the one pictured above, they are NOT for sale,
as there were only 100 made.
As we said, it's a "thank you" from the studio ...
however, The CW is giving One Tree Hill fans a
chance to WIN one. READ:CW'S ONE TREE
HILL - "RIVER COURT FAREWELLS" GIVEAWAY
Also, the ones that you may have yourself or that
you can buy are different from the piece pictured
and can be purchased from the shop
Port

BUSH IN ELKIN | 2012 NEW GARDE LOS ANGELES
via The Fashion Court -- Last night, Sophia Bush

The 29-year-old “One Tree Hill” actress added a

BUSH ON DIRECTING 'ONE TREE HILL'S' PENULTIMATE
EPISODE
via Hollywood Reporter -- One day, Sophia Bush,
who has starred on The CW’s One Tree Hill for nine
seasons, was sitting in the producers’ office when
they said, “We have something we need to talk to you
about.”
“It was this weird thing where I was like, ‘Why is
everyone sitting down? I feel like I’m being called
in the principal’s office,’” Bush tells The
Hollywood Reporter. But the actress wasn’t in
trouble after all. It turns out the producers wanted
to ask Bush to direct the penultimate episode of The
CW drama, which is finally ending after nine
seasons.
“I burst into tears and acknowledged what an amazing
honor that was to be trusted with that,” she says.

INTERVIEW WITH 'ONE TREE HILL' MUSIC SUPERVISOR
LINDSAY WOLFINGTON
via The Voice of TV -- One of the very best parts
of One Tree Hill has always been the music. The
songs are such a huge part of the show to the point
they are almost a character all in their own. The
OTH playlist on my iPod is nearly 200 songs deep and
I haven’t even skimmed the surface of all of the
show’s amazing tunes. One Tree Hill’s Music
Supervisor, Lindsay Wolfington (@lonewolflindsay on
Twitter) gets all of the credit for that as week
after week she delivers the musical goods for our
favorite show. And because she is just that awesome,
Lindsay was sweet enough to take some time out of
her busy schedule to answer a few of my questions.

The story of Renee Yohe is fascinating and since the
movie was filmed practically in my backyard, my
interest has skyrocketed.
“Renee” follows Yohe from her days in addiction to
the beginnings of her recovery, when friends Jamie
Tworkowski and David McKenna took her in, sobered
her up and got her into rehab.
“Renee” has was filmed in and around Orlando. From
downtown to Thornton Park to Full Sail University in
Winter Park. It’s a movie with a major buzz and has
the honor of being the opening night movie of the FL
Film Fest. It stars Chad Michael Murray (One Tree
Hill) and Kat Dennings (Nick and Norah’s Infinite
Playlist) as Renee.
“I have a lot of friends and some family who have
been through similar things,” Dennings said this
week, on location at a 1920s vintage private home in
Thornton Park. “When I read the script, I didn’t
think I could do it. Too difficult. But that told me
that I should do it.”
Murray, most famous for TV’s “One Tree Hill, says
“There’s this enigmatic thing about Renee that pulls
you in. She’s captivating. Kat has that. She’s a
very free spirit. She doesn’t care what people say.
She’s gone to very dark places for this and it’s
been a pleasure to watch her do it.” |

WILL
'ONE TREE HILL' SCRIBE MARK SCHWAHN HAVE ANOTHER
HIT?
via Zap2it -- Say what you will about "One Tree
Hill's" often outlandish storylines and occasionally
overwrought melodrama, but when it comes down to it,
a network television drama that lasts nine years is
nothing to shake a stick at. It's no surprise that
The CW is looking to stay in business with creator
Mark Schwahn, whose J.J. Abrams-produced pilot
"Shelter" is a contender for the fall schedule.
One of our favorite pilot scripts of the season,
"Shelter" centers on a summer resort in Shelter Bay,
Maine. Returning staffer Mitch, a mischievous young
dreamer (aren't they all?), comes home to Shelter
for the summer in the hopes of reuniting with a
former love interest, but instead, new romances and
rivalries spark.|

RE-CAP:
EPISODE #911 "DANNY BOY"
Last night was a pretty emotional episode for One
Tree Hill fans. There was closure for many

Check out some of the articles, and interviews with
Paul Johansson below for a re-cap.

SPOTLIGHT:
JANA KRAMER GAVE UP 'ONE TREE HILL' FOR MUSIC DREAMS
via Billboard, The 615 -- his year has already
seen some of Jana Kramer's dreams come true. The
former "One Tree Hill" star's debut single, "Why Ya
Wanna," has become a fan favorite as of late --
climbing the Country Songs chart to reach No. 26 in
its 13th week.
"It's still a little bit surreal," the
singer-actress admits in an exclusive interview with
Billboard.com. "I still think 'Wow, this is
happening.' It's a dream."
She adds that she is very excited that her debut
single is making such an impact with listeners. "I'm
so proud of that song," she says. "It's something
that I think everyone can relate to. It's a great
song."
Kramer remembers where she was the first time she
heard the song on the radio, although it was not the
greatest day in the world for the Michigan-bred
beauty. |

WILMA
MAGAZINE - 'ONE TREE HILL' STAR TAKES US
BEHIND-THE-SCENES
via Alison Lee Satake,
WILMA Magazine-- Fiery, raspy-voiced actress
SOPHIA BUSH wrapped up the final season of the
popular Wilmington drama, “One Tree Hill,” last
month. In the show, she plays Brooke Davis, the
creator of the fashion line, Clothes over Bros. But,
over the nine years of filming the show here, Bush
has grown up, had a hand at directing episodes and
developed her voice as an advocate for the
environment and other social issues close to her
heart.
“The people who are close to me – my friends, my
family – have listened to me talk their ear off
since I was a kid about environmental issues and
about justice issues around the world whether it be
on the subject of children or women’s rights or
poverty,” she said.
But, the Deep Water Horizon explosion and oil spill
in April 2010 was a defining moment when she decided
to speak out more publically through social media
about the need for environmental protection and
corporate responsibility. She traveled to the Gulf
Coast to witness the destruction first-hand. Since
then, she has partnered with environmental
organizations to raise awareness and funds. |

One Tree Hill's Chad Michael Murray: I came back for
the fans
Throughout nine seasons of the CW series, Dan has
been the show's villain — he abandoned his son
Lucas, was punishingly tough on his other son
Nathan, and even murdered his brother Keith. In One
Tree Hill's final season, Dan has returned a
different man, one that viewers have started to take
pity on and even empathize with. Dan took a bullet
to save Nathan from a group of dangerous men who
took him hostage in last week's episode. But even
then, can Dan ever really be redeemed given his
horrible history? |

'ONE TREE HILL': HAS DAN SCOTT BEEN REDEEMED? WHY WE
STILL CAN'T FORGIVE HIM
via Zap2it -- Let me begin this rant by saying
that Dan Scott is one of the most interesting,
dimensional characters "One Tree Hill" has ever
seen, and Paul Johansson is a fantastic actor,
director, and all-around human being. He also has
very excellent hair. This isn't meant as a criticism
of Johansson at all.
It's also not meant as a criticism of "One Tree
Hill" executive producer Mark Schwahn or any of his
writing staff. It's simply a (very opinionated) look
at a character from a dedicated fan of the show.
(Because, for the record, I do really, really love
this show, and have since I was 16.) |

The actress, who plays Victoria, the icy mother of

But I couldn’t help but wonder if the recent arrival
of Victoria’s ex-husband, played by Richard Burgi

Zuniga’s word choice. Is it safe to assume that
Brooke’s mom and dad will be hopping into the sack?
“You can if you like,” a coy Zuniga told me recently

if I were you, but I’m not going to be a spoiler.”

whether she agreed with George Clooney, who told us
gay rights are the "last leg of the Civil Rights
movement" at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards.
"Absolutely, I agree with that. 100 percent," Sophia
emphatically stated at the Global Green USA's 9th
Annual Pre-Oscar Party in Hollywood.

'ONE TREE HILL'S' SHANTEL VANSANTEN TALKS CHAD
MICHAEL MURRAY AND A FUTURE FOR CLAY AND QUINN
via Zap2it -- When Shantel VanSanten joined "One
Tree Hill" in Season 7, she and co-star Rob Buckley
were brought on to fill the spaces formerly occupied
by series vets Hilarie Burton and Chad Michael
Murray. She'd never actually met Murray, though,
until he arrived on set in September to film his
return appearance for tonight's episode.
Zap2it was on set when Murray and VanSanten shot
their scenes, which involve Lucas (Scott) meeting
Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) and Quinn (VanSanten)
at the airport to take Haley's kids out of Tree Hill
while she handles the horrifying reality of Nathan's
kidnapping.
Sitting down with us between scenes, VanSanten
admitted that she was a little bit nervous about
meeting Murray. "I never knew what to think," she
says. |

Kramer is also making a name for herself in country

CATCH JAMES LAFFERTY ON VH1'S MORNING BUZZ!
In case you missed it, a few moments ago James

"Enjoying a juice box backstage at VH1's Morning

"I've been busy with different discoveries in my own

"Then the opportunity came, and I knew how important
it was to these fans who are everything to the show

The cast of One Tree Hill shares their all-time

On Wednesday's episode, Lucas returns to Tree Hill

Murray played Lucas for so many years, he says that
stepping back into the role wasn't easy. |

"BACK TO TREE HILL" CONVENTION - OFFICIAL
PRESENTATION VIDEO
For those of you who couldn't attend the "Back
To Tree Hill" Convention, presented by Vogue Evenement, you will want to stop what you are doing
and watch this video by JennynQa Productions
that was shown at the event. It will make you smile,
want to cry, and remind you why you love Tree Hill
and everyone in it all at once.
Original Tree Hill-ion Chad Michael Murray makes his
long-awaited, final season return to the soap that
made him a three-named household name, and from the
looks of this exclusive behind-the-scenes snap, he's
done some changing. Unfortunately, we'll only get a
quick reunion for our boy Lucas and his bestie Haley
(the perpetually fabulous Bethany Joy Galeotti),
since CMM, who left back in '09, is only back for
the Feb. 22nd episode.
"Yeah, he came back for one," says executive
producer Mark Schwahn, quickly adding that fans
should not read into the brevity of Murray's stay.
In fact, it was Schwahn's idea to put his star
player back in the game for a single shot instead of
a longer arc. "I think he would have done more, but
I just felt that the story he's back for was best
served by one episode." |

Us Weekly reports that Sophia Bush and Austin
Nichols have broken up.
The duo started dating six years ago, after Sophia's
marriage to another "OTH" cast member, Chad Michael
Murray, ended. Sophia also briefly dated co-star
James Lafferty. (We assume all the on-set courting
has something to do with the hotness of her co-stars
and the possible lack of Hollywood-type bachelors in
North Carolina, where the show used to shoot.)
Sources say Sophia decided to break it off with her
on-screen hubby "because she didn't think he was the
one. She's moving on." |

'OTH' STAR LEE NORRIS TALKS MAKEUP, MOUTH'S JOURNEY
AND ... TEACHING?
via StarNews Online -- Each character on “One
Tree Hill” has changed over the show’s nine seasons.
They’ve grown older, wiser and more successful. But
at the start of season nine, one character was also
noticably thicker. Marvin “Mouth” McFadden started
this season about 60 pounds heavier than he eneded
season eight, thanks to a sudden zeal for food
that’s driving a wedge between him and his
girlfriend, Millie.
“I never envisioned that’s where my story was
going,” says Lee Norris, who has played Mouth since
the show’s pilot episode and now performs his scenes
buried under prothstetic makeup and extra padding.
I recently chatted with Norris at a CW event in
Pasadena about the locally filmed show’s legacy, his
North Carolina roots and what his future might hold.

SOPHIA BUSH ON ONE TREE HILL'S TRAGIC ACCIDENT:
"MAJOR DRAMA" TO COME! via E! Online -- On last night's episode of One
Tree Hill, viewers were shocked to witness what
appeared to be the aftermath of a horrible accident
involving baby Davis. It's still not clear what
happened, but it's definitely not good.
So can Brooke and Julian survive this tragedy? When
we chatted with Sophia Bush, she answered that very
question
"Brooke and Julian (Austin Nichols), I think, are a
very solid duo," she tells our own Kristin Dos
Santos. "There's no one who worked with Brooke ever
until Julian came along, so I think that that can
give people a little bit of comfort, knowing that."

"Mouth has no idea what's wrong," Lisa Goldstein
tells TVGuide.com. "He hasn't taken a good look at

how to tell him."
Although last week's episode lightly addressed the

problem will be treated more seriously. "Obviously
he's unhappy; otherwise, he wouldn't be eating

little insensitive, but Mouth needs a push in the

SOPHIA BUSH TEASES 'ONE TREE HILL' TRAUMA TO COME

SEASON 9 SCOOP: NATHAN IS 'POWERLESS TO CONTROL HIS

Nathan gets into a situation where he s powerless

used to dealing with, James tells us. It s
probably his biggest test yet.
But before he makes his temporary exit from Tree

I am always in support of celebrities using their
power for good, especially when it’s for charity.
Well a slew of celebs got together recently to
support a great cause. Firefox went up against
Crowdrise.com and had themselves a nice little
competition!
According to Perez Hilton, each celebrity was
responsible for their own charity and setting up the
events–which to me, is pretty awesome. Well it
altogether raised a ton of money, and actress Sophia
Bush took home the top prize!
Her charity, amazingly called F Cancer, raised
$117,000, beating out runner-up Seth Rogen and his
charity Hilarity for Charity, which brought in
$112,000.|

Sophia tweeted.
In fact, to show her support she attended the
"Hilarity for Charity" event Friday night.
Hilarity for Charity is a movement lead by Seth Rogen intended to get young people's heads out of
their asses and aware of Alzheimer's.

no breaks. So doing a little math after last night’s
debut, that puts the finale on Wednesday, April 4.

THE
MUSIC OF ONE TREE HILL: IT ALL STARTED WITH A SONG We teamed up with Hilarie Burton's
SoGoPro Street Team to share some memorable
tunes of season's past with all of you in their
"Tree Hill Talk, Tree Hill Tunes". Talk a trip down
memory lane with us over the next 13 weeks! Maybe
share some of YOUR favorite Tree Hill Tunes?
There is no “One Tree Hill” fan like the OTH
music fan; someone with the ear to pick up the tone,
melody, and feel of a song as it softy plays behind
the dialogue you can’t miss a second of. It’s the
fans like them, those so invested in this show, that
I believe have kept the series running for as long
as it has. The best part of all is that I think all
fans of the show are One Tree Hill music fans — and
that’s why OTH-Music.com was created. |

CW's One Tree Hill returned with the best numbers in
the time period for nearly a year, with a 0.9 adults
18-49 rating, a 1.2 adults 18-34 rating, a 1.8 women
18-34 rating to go along with its 1.75 million
viewers. -
TV by the Numbers
NBC's new comedy block of "Whitney" and "Are You
There, Chelsea?" had an OK start, and the final
season premiere of "One Tree Hill" was down from its
2010-11 debut but in line with last season's
average.
CBS drew 8.9 million viewers and a 6.0 rating/9
share in households for the night, narrowly beating
ABC (8.8 million, 5.7/9) for the top spot. NBC (7.75
million, 5.2/8) was not far behind in third. FOX
came in a fairly distant fourth with a little more
than 3 million viewers and a 1.9/3, and The CW (1.3
million, 0.9/1) trailed. -

A QUICK REVIEW OF EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED IN
EIGHT SEASONS OF OTH via NY Mag --One Tree Hill begins its
ninth and final season tonight, and even though it
started as a relatively run-of-the-mill teen soap,
it's become a lunatic fiesta that would make a
daytime soap blush and makes the racier ABC Family
dramas look like guidebooks to being Amish. On the
off chance you want to catch up before tonight's
premiere, here's your handy condensed guide to
everything that's happened on One Tree Hill, from
comas to shootings to graduation labors to dogs
eating hearts to more shootings.
Lucas and Nathan are half-brothers who don't like
each other, but do like girls — often the same
girls, Peyton, Haley, and Brooke — and basketball.
They fight, they get held at gunpoint, Peyton's
father gets lost at sea, Lucas falls into a coma,
Brooke has a pregnancy scare, and then Haley and
Nathan get teen-married. |

While some folks may feel that One Tree Hill has
passed its prime, there are those diehard fans who
still think life in the small town that survived the
WB-CW merger could go on and on. Like Celine Dion's
heart. Only with super-sensitive voice-overs and
crazy nannies.
For those of us who tuned in to the final season's
premiere last night, that belief was only compounded
by the pile of stories that were set up to help
drive this last batch of episodes. In the opening
three minutes alone, we got flash-forwarded glimpses
of mayhem to come that could fuel an entire 10th
season. |
Continue reading...
Our story takes place in the fertile, San Joaquin
Valley. Fueled by gin and sheer determination,
Elizabeth James (Ms. Liz) operates her third
generation dairy farm outside the region's
domineering co-ops. To help keep the place afloat,
she's employed five renegade ranch hands. These boys
have put a pin in responsibility and opted to
stretch out the party as long as possible.
Unfortunately, women, booze, and fisticuffs can only
lead to one outcome: trouble. With the dairy farm
reporting its third straight deficit year, Ms Liz is
attracting some unwanted attention. Delbert Furgeson,
the owner of the area's largest co-op, is pushing to
buy her out. This only incenses the prideful Ms Liz
and starts a volatile feud between the two. Sharing
the narrative are the ranch hands. Randel and Rooker
Lee are brothers caught in the crossfire of their
parents' separation. Leslie Williams and Jackie
Remmington are aspiring musicians, trying not to get
caught up in their own success. Wade Kitchanski is
at ends with his father, striving to find his own
path outside the family paint business. As the boys
struggle to find direction, Ms Liz and Delbert
Furgeson launch into a full-blown war. When the dust
settles, we realize it's not simply a story about
winners and losers or finding your way. It's about
purpose: to find what you believe in, through
change, through loss, even if it's the small things.
Then hold on to it and fight for it, because in the
end that's all you have.
It posted the best numbers in that timeslot for the
CW since spring, though Wednesday is admittedly one
of the network’s weakest nights. The premiere
episode delivered a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating, a 1.2
adults 18-34 rating and a 1.8 women 18-34 rating, a
demo that The CW covets. In all, 1.75 million
viewers watched the premiere at 8 p.m.. A 9 p.m.
rerbroadcast pulled in another 820,000. (Although
knowing “One Tree Hill” fans, I bet many of those 9
p.m. viewers were die-hards sticking around for a
second viewing.)
That’s about what the show had been averaging last
season, but again, the numbers were up over the
reality programming that had been airing in that
slot last year. |

And while not too much about the show’s
heart-tugging tendencies will change in the show’s
final season, which kicks off tonight, he didn’t
take the opportunity to go out on bold terms
lightly. “I felt like we had to worry less about our
safety net so we could take more risks on the high
wire,” says Schwahn. |

TRAGEDY, TRANSFORMATION AND COUPLES IN TURMOIL: WHAT
TO EXPECT FROM ONE TREE HILL'S LAST SEASON via TV Guide -- While One Tree Hill may be
known for soapy plotlines mixed in with a few psycho
killers (RIP, Nanny Carrie), the heart of the series
has always been the relationships. As the show
embarks on its ninth and final season, we were on
the set with the cast as they warned that it's
definitely not all rainbows and butterflies for the
core couples. From Nathan's absence to an accident
involving one of Brooke and Julian's babies, see
what to expect when One Tree Hill returns
(Wednesday, 8/7c, The CW).
Nathan and Haley: When the show picks up, Haley is
back to being a working mom now that she and Brooke
have reopened Karen's Café. But as Bethany Joy
Galeotti tells us, things quickly unravel from her
"very glam, small-town entrepreneurial mom life."|

ZAP2IT'S BEST & WORST OF 'ONE TREE HILL': 99 MOST
MEMORABLE MOMENTS
*Sigh* It feels like we're all taking a trip
down memory lane this week. Kind of bittersweet as
we're all so sad yet excited to see what is in store
for Season 9. Check out Zap2it's most memorable
moments.
As "One Tree Hill" begins its explosive final
season, we thought we'd spend a little time looking
back over some of the best and worst moments of a
series that has spanned nearly a decade.
We got some help from tons of fans, as well as some
of the stars of the show, to wrangle the most
romantic, ridiculous, powerful, cheesy,
heartbreaking, and hopeful moments from all eight
seasons so far. First kisses, last dances, births,
and deaths have gotten us to the beginning of Season
9 -- and Tree Hill is still in for some serious
shake-ups before the final goodbye. |

HURRAH WITH TEARS, LAUGHTER, AND A HEART-BREAKING
MYSTERY via The TV Addict --Is ONE TREE HILL
looking to go out with a bang or a pretty wrapped
bow as it ends its 9th season? From all indications
from the two-minute teaser which jump-starts this
final season, and from the cryptic remarks of the
cast and creator, fans better be prepared to break
out the Kleenex. The body under a white sheet in the
morgue make be the best clue, but given the number
of tears shed at a special sneak peek screening of
ONE TREE HILL’s 9th season opener by the cast last
week, one of the show’s beloved characters is not
going to make it through the season.
It was both a joyful reunion and a night of
misty-eyes as the cast of ONE TREE HILL watched the
screening with fans and talked afterwards about some
of their favorite memories. In fact, one fan was so
choked up by how much the show touched her heart
that she was unable to speak and it prompted star
Sophia Bush to rush to her aid with a handy tissue.

One Tree Hill’s creator Mark Schwahn has said that
the last 13 episodes "will be dark" compared to the
most recent seasons of the CW drama.
The first few minutes of the first episode seem to
prove him right. The characters are each thrown into
what looks like hell and havoc. There’s fighting and
crying, a burning building and Haley standing in the
morgue over a dead body.
Schwahn wouldn’t tell The Hollywood Reporter much
about the mystery death. “I will say that we won’t
end the season with the cast that we start with, and
I think for fans of the show, that will be emotional
and powerful,” he said. “I think in One Tree Hill,
rarely is all what it seems, so there’s always that
to factor in.” |

KRAMER TALKS BREAKING INTO COUNTRY MUSIC & HER
FAREWELL TO 'ONE TREE HILL' via Showbiz Examiner --One Tree
Hill's Jana Kramer is already breaking Country music
history and she hasn't even released her first album

January 17th, she will be the most added female
country artist with a single debut in the history of
the Aircheck chart. The actress/singer/songwriter is
also currently trending to be the most added debut

JAMES LAFFERTY SAYS GOODBYE TO 'ONE TREE HILL' :
'IT'S BY FAR NATHAN'S WORST YEAR' via Zap2it -- In the opening moments of
tonight's "One Tree Hill" season premiere, the
audience immediately realizes that our favorite
characters are in for a harrowing, heartbreaking
thirteen episodes. Still, Nathan, Haley, Brooke, and
the rest of the gang have been through hell before
-- so we were pretty confident that they can handle
whatever is thrown at them at this point.
That is, until we met up with series star James
Lafferty at the Zap2it offices this morning and he
warned us, "It's by far Nathan's worst year.
Absolutely." After car accidents, school shootings,
traumatic injuries, and really bad hair, that's
saying something. |

WHO'S READY FOR THE "ONE TREE HILL" SEASON 9
PREMIERE? via StarNews Online -- “One Tree Hill” kicks
off its ninth season premiere tonight with a bang
(or at least a few guns) and the welcome return of
Chris Keller and Dan Scott.
I’m in Pasadena for the Television Critics
Association’s winter press tour, so I won’t be
blogging about the premiere tonight. (With any luck
I’ll be chatting with the show’s producers instead.)
But I did see the episode last week at a screening
in Hollywood, and I’ll tell you it’s easily the best
episode of the show since last season’s “Darkness at
the Edge of Town.”
Mark Schwahn has promised a final season that is
basically one long story arc (or really several long
story arcs for different character sets). If the
first episode of the final season is any indication,
it’s a conceit that has reinvigorated the show. |

CASTLE - "An Embarrassment of Bitches" - When a

without possessing any discernible skill or talent.
But there seems to be more to her story than she is

'ONE TREE HILL' SEASON 9 SCOOP: THE STARS REVEAL 8
MAJOR SECRETS via HollywoodLife.com -- Well, kids, the day
we’ve looked forward to — and also dreaded — is
almost here. The final season of One Tree Hill
premieres at 8 p.m. tomorrow (Jan. 11) on The CW,
and I was fortunate enough to be on the show’s
Wilmington, N.C., set to get the scoop straight from
the stars! Bethany Joy Galeotti sums the whole thing
up pretty nicely (“near death experiences, jealousy,
psychotic breakdowns, post-traumatic stress”), but
let’s see what the other residents of Tree Hill have
to say about what they’ll be up to during the show’s
final run. |

Moore's new film "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" has
finally been released! The film, which is a remake
of a 2008 French comedy, is centered around a mother
and daughter's relationship and how their world is
influenced by peer pressure and the world wide web.
LOL also stars Douglas Booth ("Romeo and Juliet"),
Austin Nichols ("One Tree Hill"), and Ashley Greene
(The "Twilight" Saga). Here's the official synopsis:
In a world connected by YouTube, iTunes, and
Facebook, Lola (Cyrus) and her friends navigate the
peer pressures of high school romance and friendship

confused parents.
Austin plays the 'hot' teacher -- as he's refer to

'OTH' FANS FORM LASTING FRIENDSHIPS via StarNews Online -- When Cathrine Jakobsen
made the 24-hour trek from Norway to Wilmington to
get a glimpse of the inner workings of "One Tree
Hill," she knew it would be a trip to remember. What
she didn't anticipate were the long-term friendships
that would form while she was here.
"My visit was amazing. I made some great friends
that I know I'll always have with me," said Jakobsen,
22, who lives in Oslo and has followed the show
since its third season. "I still talk to them almost
every day through Facebook."
Jakobsen is one of thousands of members of the "One
Tree Hill family," a close-knit group of fans who
connect daily through social networking sites,
exchanging messages of love, support and friendship.
On Twitter, users end their messages with the
hashtag "#OTHfamily" and consider themselves close
friends, but most don't live in the same cities and
have never met in person. |

LOCAL
ACTORS FOUND A HOME ON 'ONE TREE HILL' via StarNews Online -- Back in 2003, when
"One Tree Hill" was just an idea, employees of
Wilmington-based casting agency Fincannon &
Associates had several roles they were trying to
fill for a new series.
For these parts, the Fincannons looked at regional
actors and decided on some from right here in the
Port City.
"We read hundreds of people throughout the
Southeast," Lisa Mae Wells Fincannon said in a 2003
interview. "Really, the entire Eastern Seaboard."
She'd said the producers were interested in making
the show, set in a fictional North Carolina town
called Tree Hill, as authentic as possible and were
interested in local actors.
Nine years later, many faces you may see around town
are a part of the legacy of "One Tree Hill." |

'ONE
TREE HILL' EXCLUSIVE PIC: TYLER HILTON REVIVES CHRIS
KELLER via Zap2it -- Over the summer, Zap2it was the
first to tell you that Tyler Hilton was returning to
"One Tree Hill" as the always controversial Chris
Keller... and now we've got the first pic of a new,
matured, more sophisticated Chris Keller in Season
9.
Okay, so we're lying about the maturity thing. Chris
Keller returns in the season premiere in a flurry of
juvenile jokes, and we promise, you'll feel like he
never left. (And, more importantly, you'll wish he'd
never left!)
First thing is first: Don't worry, Keller isn't in
town to break up Haley and Nathan. We visited the
Wilmington, NC set in September and got the scoop
from Hilton himself. "When [news broke] that I was
coming back, everybody was like 'So excited! So
excited! If you break up Nathan and Haley I'm going
to kill you,'" he jokes. "I was hoping for a nanny
position in the family. I don't think they want me
anywhere near that." |

OLOGY SPENDS AN EVENING
WITH 'ONE TREE HILL' via Ology -- I had a headache as I woke up
Friday morning, a legitimate headache, from all the
emotion that poured out Thursday night at "An
Evening with One Tree Hill" in L.A. Yes, I'm a
writer, but I was there as a fan of the show too --
a show that has gotten a lot of criticism over the
course of its 9-year run. And a show that will be
missed dearly when it ends this Spring.
Watch the first two minutes of the premiere right
now!
"We jumped the shark years ago," creator Mark
Schwahn admitted with a laugh. "For some people the
show was a guilty pleasure. We were never a critical
darling. After 187 episodes, whoever is still hating
on the show is losing the battle."
Granted critics were seemingly always harsh, OTH
pulled in ratings year after year. And it's built
one of the most dedicated fan bases surrounding
television today, one that shed tears with the cast
and crew as we said goodbye to the series that
night. |

NEED TO CATCH UP ON "ONE
TREE HILL"? FANS RECOMMEND THESE ESSENTIAL EPISODES via StarNews Online -- Locally filmed drama
series “One Tree Hill” returns for its ninth and
final season Wednesday.
If you’ve never seen the show, it can be hard to
jump in to the story after eight seasons of love,
death, betrayal, and basketball. So we asked the
show’s loyal legion of fans to help us choose a list
of “essential” episodes that could help newbies
catch up on the show and serve as a highlight reel
of all the series embodies. Fans voted a few years
ago on the eps from the first six seasons, then we
updated the vote this summer to add eps from seasons
seven and eight.
Thousands of online votes later, the episodes below
rose to the top. As expected, there are plenty of
season finales (when big, important moments tend to
happen), but there’s also a good mix of humor,
romance and over-the-top drama – all of the things
that kept “One Tree Hill” fans coming back for 174
episodes and looking forward to 13 more. |

ARE HAPPY 'ONE TREE HILL'
COUPLES A THING OF THE PAST? ANTAGONISM RUNS RAMPANT via Zap2it -- "One Tree Hill" fans, there's
less than a week before you'll finally get to watch
the Season 9 premiere -- the last first episode
ever! We're thrilled to share the new teaser with
you above, but we'll warn you -- it's not going to
make the wait any easier. This is absolutely the
most harrowing two minutes we see in the episode.
If you want some dish on the premiere, we've posted
every spoiler we're allowed to share right here --
but we do have lots more scoop from Thursday night's
"One Tree Hill" panel in Los Angeles. Cast members
Paul Johansson, Tyler Hilton, Bethany Joy Galeotti,
Sophia Bush, Shantel VanSanten, Robert Buckley,
Jackson Brundage, Stephen Colletti, and Lee Norris
joined exec producer Mark Schwahn (and moderator Meg
Masters) for a fantastic Q&A that revealed plenty
about the next season.
First of all, if Season 8 was about major milestones
for many of the couples and about everyone finding a
relatively happy ending in Tree Hill, Season 9 puts
the happy couple thing aside.
Don't get us wrong -- the couples are still together
and going strong. Early on, though, their happiness
is tested, big time, by a series of scary events.

"ONE
TREE HILL" CAST AND CREW GO HOLLYWOOD FOR Q&A,
SCREENING via StarNews Online -- Cast and crew members
of the locally filmed drama series “One Tree Hill”
gathered with about 200 fans of the series to watch
a special screening of the ninth (and final) season
premiere Thursday, Jan. 5, at the ArcLight movie
theater in Hollywood.
After the screening, the stars stuck around for a
Q&A moderated by TVLine.com’s Meg Masters and to
take questions from the audience. It was similar to
an event held in October at the University of North
Carolina Wilmington just before the show wrapped
production.
In attendance at the ArcLight were series creator
Mark Schwahn and actors Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy
Galeotti, Paul Johansson, Shantel VanSanten, Rob
Buckley, Jackson Brundage, Tyler Hilton, Lee Norris
and Stephen Colletti.
The cast teased a bit of what will happen in the
ninth season, which Schwahn called his favorite yet.
Returning to the show full time this season is
Hilton, who plays bad boy musician Chris Keller, who
has not appeared regularly since season two.
“It was like going back to high school five years
later,” Hilton said of rejoining the show. |

ONE TREE HILL FINAL SEASON
SCOOP: WHAT DOES THE BEGINNING OF THE END LOOK LIKE? via E! Online -- By the end of the first few
minutes of One Tree Hill's season-nine premiere, our
eyes were wide open in shock. By the end of the cast
Q&A that followed, our eyes were filled with tears.
And that is pretty much One Tree Hill's final season
in a nutshell: shock and tears. Based on the first
episode and what creator Mark Schwahn had to say
about the end of OTH, fans will be in for quite a
rollercoaster ride...
Since this show is mostly about the couples and the
drama that comes to their lives, we thought we'd
break down what to expect when OTH returns to our TV
lives (next Wednesday!) for one last time |

WHICH
ONE TREE HILL CHARACTER GETS FAT FOR THE FINAL
SEASON? via TV Guide -- When One Tree Hill returns on
Wednesday (8/7c, CW) one character will be virtually
unrecognizable.
"Mouth [has] gained about 60 pounds," Lee Norris
tells TVGuide.com. "He's undergone a physical
transformation ... but what is really going to
interest the audience is why this transformation
happened."
When we last saw Marvin "Mouth" McFadden, he and
girlfriend Millie (Lisa Goldstein) had begun their
very own morning show. While the two are still at it
when the show returns, they'll have a lot on their
plate. |

SOPHIA
BUSH IN KIMBERLY OVITZ | "EVENING WITH ONE TREE
HILL" LA SCREENING via The Fashion Court -- Sophia Bush joined
her “One Tree Hill” co-stars last night for a
special screening of the final season premiere in
Los Angeles.
Nearly the entire current cast of the ninth and
final season, along with producers Joe Davola and
Mark Schwahn (pictured below), attended The CW
network’s presentation of “An Evening with One Tree
Hill” at the ArcLight Theater where they screened
the first episode for fans and press before doing an
on-stage Q&A.
Sophia looked great in a paint splatter printed tank
dress with an asymmetric hem from the Spring/Summer
2012 collection by Kimberly Ovitz that she layered
over a black slip dress. Because of the loose fit,
Sophia added a thick leather belt to give it a
little definition. |

SOPHIA BUSH BRINGS BROOKE DAVIS TO LIFE ONE LAST
TIME via Zap2it -- Confession: When Sophia Bush
tweeted her final photo from the "One Tree Hill" set
on the night that the series wrapped for good, we
started crying. In public. It wasn't exactly our
finest moment.
While the series may have ended for Sophia, though,
we can look forward to 13 final episodes with Brooke
Davis (and the rest of the gang, of course) before
we officially say goodbye. We were lucky enough to
visit Sophia and her co-stars in Wilmington back in
September, when we sat down with Sophia and got the
scoop on her last weeks with B. Davis.
When Season 9 begins, we meet Brooke in a very happy
place as she and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) bring
back a bit of nostaglia for themselves -- and the
fans -- at Karen's Café. "It's great that she and
Haley have come together to start this café. Joy and
I were having so much fun that first episode,"
Sophia says, sitting with us in the "Naley" house
living room set as thunder raged outside the studio.
"We had this whole rhythm down -- how we would move,
and where we could keep our aprons, and what we'd do
to make it look like we'd done it a million times
already. That's really great for [Brooke], and it's
such a tie to the community and where she grew up.
Brooke, more than anyone, has wanted nothing more
than to be in her home. So I love her having that,
and I love Brooke and Haley having that partnership,
because they're such good friends." |

STAR SHANTEL VANSANTEN WILL EMPOWER YOU! via The Insider -- For the last three years,
Shantel VanSanten has been breathing life into the
fascinatingly complex Quinn on One Tree Hill. But
with the series' final 13 episodes set to air
starting January 11, Shantel began to look to the
future and what she wanted to do next.
Launched in January of 2011, the organization was
started to further raise awareness on the dangers of
eating disorders and promote the importance of inner
beauty, positive self-esteem and positive ways to
deal with body image insecurities. The issue is so
close to Shantel's heart, she was recently made the
campaign's Celebrity True Beauty Ambassador with her
own column in the monthly newsletter. Shantel will
be giving a speech at a Team True Beauty event on
January 7 in Los Angeles (details here [Link])
and recently took a few minutes out of her day to
speak with TheInsider.com.
We not only chatted about the importance of
organizations like Team True Beauty, but also about
what her fans can expect from the upcoming final
season of One Tree Hill -- which Shantel calls
"amazing crazy." |

BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI ASSURES US THAT 'NALEY' IS
STILL GOING STRONG via Zap2it -- After so many years on the air,
the "One Tree Hill" set functions like a well-oiled
machine, and rarely do members of the press factor
into that. To say that we were thrilled when Zap2it
was invited to Wilmington, NC to watch a bit of
filming for the final season of the show is an
understatement.
We visited while cast member Austin Nichols was
directing the 7th episode of the season, and our
first day on set afforded us the chance to watch
Bethany Joy Galeotti film emotional scenes with her
returning pal Chad Michael Murray. Yes, Lucas and
Haley's BFFdom has endured despite his absence (and
the fact that he never returned any of her letters
-- a fact that plagued Murray a bit when he read the
script).
In the scenes we watched, Haley wasn't in the most
stable frame of mind, but Joy assures us that it's
not all doom and gloom for Haley this season. When
we catch up with her in the premiere, she's enjoying
her growing family and the new/old business she
shares with Brooke (Sophia Bush). "This season Haley
has decided to, as we saw at the end of Season 8,
reopen Karen's Café. She renovated Clothes Over Bros
after Brooke had her financial catastrophe, and so
she and Brooke went into business together. Haley is
diving into that.She's got a daughter, she's got a
son, her husband is traveling, it's sort of a very
glam, small-town entrepreneurial mom life for
Haley."
However, unlike Season 8, this final season of "OTH"
isn't all about the laughs. "Things very quickly
start to unravel," Joy admits. At first, it's
manageable -- another local café owner, played by
"Dancing With The Stars" alum Chelsea Kane, gives
Brooke and Haley some not-so-friendly competition,
and hijinks ensue. |

QUESTIONS WITH ACTOR-TURNED-GRAPHIC NOVELIST CHAD
MICHAEL MURRAY via Next Movie -- We've seen actors branch
out into all kinds of side careers, from rapping and
banjoing to running an NFL franchise or a hamburger
joint.
Chad Michael Murray best known for making hearts
throb on TV's "One Tree Hill" and movies like "House
of Wax" and "A Cinderella Story" now adds "graphic
novelist" to his resume's job history with "Everlast,"
a dark but spiritual tale about a hard-edged
"soul-saver" in the days leading up to the
apocalypse.
THE CW TEAMS WITH UJ.J.
ABRAMS & 'OTH' CREATOR MARK SCHWAHN FOR HOTEL DRAMA via Deadline -- EXCLUSIVE: J.J. Abrams is
headed to the CW. In his first stint at the
5-year-old network, the top writer-producer-director
has teamed up with Mark Schwahn, creator/executive
producer/showrunner of the CW s long-running drama
One Tree Hill. The power pair has sold a hotel drama
to the CW, which will instantly become one of the
the network s highest-profile projects this
development season. Schwahn will write the show,
tentatively titled Maine, which is set at an inn in
Maine and revolves around the staff and the inn s
guests. Abrams and Schwahn will executive produce
with Bryan Burk for Warner Bros TV, Abrams
studio-based Bad Robot and Schwahn s Mastermind
Laboratories. In scope, the character-based drama,
which has received a script commitment, harkens to
Schwahn s OTH, which will end its nine-year run
early next year, and Abrams Felicity. This also
marks a homecoming of sorts for Abrams, who started
his TV career on the CW predecessor the WB with
Felicity. For Schwahn, the project stems from a
script deal with WBTV. |

BETHANY JOY GALEOTTI FINDING POST-SERIES LIFE 'SUCH
A CHANGE' via Zap2it -- Bethany Joy Galeotti confirms
it's not easy to say goodbye to Wilmington, N.C.,
but the recent end of filming "One Tree Hill" there
made it necessary.
The cast has scattered as the Wednesday, Jan. 11,
premiere of the CW drama series' ninth and final
season nears. It promises new dilemmas for Haley
James Scott (Galeotti) and her husband Nathan (James
Lafferty), thanks in no small part to his
ever-scheming father Dan (Paul Johansson).
"I was less emotional than I thought I'd be on the
last day," Galeotti tells Zap2it, "but I think it
came out in other ways. I'd be at home doing my
laundry and not be able to find something, and I'd
burst into tears. It's hard to see photos from the
set and think, 'I'm never going to be in a room with
all the same people again.' |

FROM TELEVISION TO TELLING
STORIES: CHAD MICHAEL MURRAY TACKLES HIS FIRST
GRAPHIC NOVEL via Ology -- Chad Michael Murray is someone
who has tackled the acting world pretty fiercely
over the last 10 years. From starring on CW favorite
One Tree Hill to landing leads in major films
alongside actresses like Lindsay Lohan, Hilary
Duff and Jamie Lee Curtis, Chad more or less has
Hollywood firmly in his back pocket. So, like anyone
would be, I was skeptical upon hearing that he had
written a graphic novel -- not a novel or memoir,
mind you. It wouldn't be much of a challenge for the
30-year-old seasoned actor to ghost-write a book
like so many of his peers, trying to capitalize on
their fame while they can. Chad chose a genre that
is very much critical and protective of its own
kind. A ballsy move. And he did it because he likes
to write, which I can't help but admire.
One of the many perks of my job is getting to meet
and interview talented people and celebrities with
whom in normal circumstances I'd never even breathe
the same air. So when I heard that Chad was stopping
in New York City for a signing, of course I had to
be there. And walking into Barnes and Noble on the
Upper East Side was like walking into a cooler,
tamer version of a rock concert. The fans were just
like any -- passionate, kinda nuts and just wanted a
glimpse at him -- but more importantly, they were
devoted and genuinely excited to crack open Everlast,
his very first novel. |

RIP RIVER COURT: "ONE TREE
HILL" LANDMARK BEING REMOVED via StarNews Online -- It was more than just
a patch of concrete.
For the past nine years, fans of the locally filmed
drama series One Tree Hill have made pilgrimages
to the maksehift basketball court in Battleship Park
across the river from downtown Wilmington.
Now, the river court, as it was known on the show,
is being torn up.
Crews worked on the court Monday, cutting through
the concrete.
The show finished filming its ninth and final season
a couple weeks ago, so there was no more use for the
court. Fans, however, hoped it would stick around as
a memorial to the show they loved. A petition was
started but time was not on fans side.
It s unclear how quickly it will take crews to
remove all traces of the court from the park, and
rainy weather could interrupt their work. So if
you ve been hoping for one last pilgrimage to the
court, you better hurry. |

END OF 'ONE TREE HILL'
LEAVES DOWNTOWN WITH EMPTY FEELING via Greater Wilmington Business Journal --
The hit television series One Tree Hill may have
left a lasting impression in the hearts of
Wilmingtonians and worldwide viewers alike, but one
thing it will certainly leave the Port City in the
coming days is a bigger glut in downtown office
space.
More than 16,000-square feet of potential office and
retail space will be for the taking as One Tree
Hill actors, crew members, directors and their cash
say farewell to the Port City.
The new vacancies come at a time when greater
Wilmington s commercial real estate sector, while
improving, remains sluggish. And moving new tenants
into new office space remains challenging as the
region tries to pick up the pieces after the Great
Recession and real estate crash. |

HILARIE BURTON EXCITED TO
TAKE A 'RADICALLY DIFFERENT' KIND OF ROLE via
TVLine.com -- Hilarie Burton is set to
guest-star on Castle at midseason, and the actress
tells me the gig has her excited for multiple
reasons -- one being that she is "definitely a fan"
of ABC's Monday-night cop drama.
Burton also points out that her Castle episode will
play host to a One Tree Hill reunion of sorts,
seeing as Tom Wright -- who directed several episodes
of the CW sudser -- will be calling the shots as she
plays Kay Cappuccio, a Kardashian-like reality star
who is famous for… well, no discernible reason.
"He is one of my favorite One Tree Hill directors,
so I'm really looking forward to working with him
again," Burton effuses. "And this time playing
someone so radically different!"

CALLING ALL OTH FANS: LET'S SAVE THE RIVERCOURT!

Sophia barely had any time to relax before she flew

Pencils of Promise is an organization founded by
Adam Braun (and endorsed by Justin Bieber) that

GOODNIGHT BROOKE DAVIS This is too much you guys!!
It was hard enough saying "goodnight" to Nathan and
Haley -- but, wow. Not only was tonight the final day
of filming for One Tree Hill -- it was the
last day for Daphne Zuniga as the devious Victoria
Davis, Austin Nichols as the lovable filmmaker
Julian Baker, and last - but certainly not least -
Brooke Davis. She was a character worthy of so many
titles, but to us -- she'll always be "the girl behind the
red door".
Throughout the day all three of them posting photos
prepping for their final scenes. Daphne
took a photo with makeup artist Tym Buacharern
as she got ready for the day, and had
some OTH donuts as a breakfast send off.
Austin Nichols dropped a series finale hint
in his photo.
When it comes right down to it though -- Sophia just
made us flat out cry
with this one.

all began ... #GoodnightBrookeDavis #OhHowIveLovedYouOTH

'SMITH CREEK BLVD.' COULD
BECOME 'ONE TREE HILL WAY' WILMINGTON, NC (WECT)
- One Tree Hill will be wrapping up production
this year, but Mayor Bill Saffo wants a permanent
reminder of the TV show's contributions to
Wilmington.
During Tuesday night's Wilmington City Council
meeting, Saffo will propose an ordinance renaming
Smith Creek Boulevard to One Tree Hill Way.
Smith Creek Blvd. is located off of 23rd Street
adjacent to the Screen Gems Film Studio.
There are only four property owners on Smith Creek
Blvd. So far, three of them have signed a petition
in support of the name change.
The fourth owner lives out of town and did not
respond to the City's request.
TREE HILL HAS OFFICIALLY
LOST SOME MORE RESIDENTS! :( Another day on set of the final episode of One
Tree Hill proved to be another major sad one. Today
we said "goodnight" to some of our favorite
characters as Lee Norris, Lisa Goldstein,
Tyler Hilton, Stephen Colletti,
Robert Buckley, and Shantel VanSanten
shot their final scenes as Mouth McFadden, Millie
Huxtable, Chris Keller, Chase Adams, Clay Evans, and
Quinn James.
Whether they were there from day one, season two, or
four years into the future -- these character all leave a major
mark on the show, and will forever be part of what
made OTH so special to all of us. We will miss
you all.
WE'LL SOON DRIVE DOWN 'ONE
TREE HILL WAY'? On Saturday night at the wrap party for One
Tree Hill, the cast was presented with their very
own street sign!! While this is such an honor that
is totally deserved, we can't help but wish they had
gotten it earlier in the series. How amazing would
that have been to see one of them drive down ONE
TREE HILL WAY in an episode?
Better late than never! Check it out...
Stephen Colletti and
Lisa Goldstein (pictured with Sophia Bush) both
tweeted photos of them posing with the sign.
Congratulations you guys!

CHARACTER WON'T BE THERE IN THE VERY END via EOnline.com -- We wish we could report
that last night, Hilarie Burton told us at the
Breaking Dawn premiere that she would be returning
to One Tree Hill for the series finale, but alas,
she still will be a no-show.
However, we do have the next best thing…
We asked Burton (who attended the premiere with beau
Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Grey's Anatomy, Supernatural,
Weeds) where she thinks Peyton Scott would be now
since driving off into the sunset with her hubby
Lucas and their newborn baby.
"She's probably super pregnant with four or five,"
she tells us. "She's having a Lucas Scott little,
I'm sure!"
That's an intense scenario, and Morgan definitely
agreed. "She's pregnant with four?" he asks his
lady. "Or she's already had three and is pregnant
with the fourth?"
SAY "GOODNIGHT", NOT
"GOODBYE" TO THE SCOTT FAMILY James Lafferty said his goodbyes on Friday, and
today the rest of his on-screen family shot their final scenes
on One Tree Hill. It's officially a wrap on the
Scott family...
Earlier this morning, Bethany Joy Galeotti
posted an entry on her official blog where she
explained that she was in rehearsal for her final
scenes as Haley James Scott, and that it would be
taking place on the Karen's Cafe rooftop.
It appears as though her final scene was also the
final one for Jackson Brundage as her on-screen son,
Jamie Scott. Joy
posted this photo of the two of them together.
Sophia Bush bid her "goodbye's" to Joy and Jackson
through her WhoSay account.
Click here to see this very sweet photo of Soph
and Jackson with a giant teddy bear.
It has been such a joy to watch Bethany play
out this role for so many years. She got married
while on this show, and also became a mother. As
fans and loyal viewers, we felt like we've lived out
so many huge moments with her on and off-screen --
it's going to be difficult not to have her part of
our lives on-screen, but thankfully Twitter and
blogs will allow us not to officially part ways.
If OTH had ended in season four as it almost did, we
would have never been introduced to Jackson as James
Lucas Scott. Boy, are we glad that didn't happen!
We say "goodnight" to these characters -- and on
January 11, 2012 we'll look forward to watching each
of the final thirteen episodes -- we won't say
"goodbye".
Goodnight Haley James Scott
& James Lucas Scott Thanks
for the memories.
THAT'S A 'TREE HILL'
WRAP FOR JAMES LAFFERTY! While One Tree Hill still has a few more
days to go before wrapping the series and the whole
cast have different schedules -- yesterday James
Lafferty officially finished filming all of his
scenes.
This is what he tweeted: Signed out at 11:11 on 11/11/11. That's a wrap on
Nathan Scott. Thanks folks. #GreatScott! -
@ThisisLafferty
He also
retweeted this image a fan created as as
send-off for the OTH "power couple".
ONE TREE HILL: THE
COUNTDOWN TO THE END As you all should know by now -- it's the final
week of filming for One Tree Hill. During the
final week, the cast has been posting photos from
set as they officially wrap in special locations
we've grown to love over nearly a decade. We've been
keeping our tears at bay as best as we could, but
there has definitely been some spillage.
It's bittersweet to see the show coming to a close
-- but as they say "all good things must come to an
end". Of course, that doesn't make this any easier.
There have been many spoilers from the cast, and
while we will not leak those to you -- we can't
really hide the fact that GAVIN DEGRAW will
be performing in the series finale!
OLOGY
INTERVIEW: LEE NORRIS TALKS SEASON 9 OF "ONE TREE
HILL"
Sharon Tharp from Ology talked to Lee Norris
("Mouth") about the final season of One Tree Hill,
the fate of his character, and his childhood role on
Boy Meets World! We've posted a brief bit of
the interview below, but you can read it in its
entirety by clicking here!
Oh my god! This is so sad! At least we know
it's the end this time though. Has it hit you yet?
I don't think it's going to hit until it's like
time to come back after Christmas break like normal,
and we don't actually come back. I think that's when
it's really going to sink in. We're going to finish
just in time for the holidays; normally we would
have like a holiday break and come back after to
finish the rest of the season, but we're only doing
13 episodes this season, so...
Yeah, and I think we're all happy just to get the
13, though. Absolutely! It's like you said,
we're thrilled that we actually know [it's ending].
Especially for those of us who have been around
since the beginning, it's been a lot of waiting, and
never knowing whether we were saying goodbye
forever. So it's really nice. And we're all happy,
because we feel we've told some good stories, and
taken it just about as far as you can take anything.
And we're all sad to say goodbye to each other, but
it's bittersweet.
THE
FIRST LOOK AT "ONE TREE HILL" SEASON 9 *** SPOILER WARNING ***
We were sent this video through Twitter
and as it turns out, it's actually a poor quality
recording of the first look at SEASON 9!!
While it's totally blurry and dark (it was filmed on
a big screen during 'An Evening with One Tree
Hill'), so while it's not the best quality - it will
definitely get you pumped for the final season.
Again -- it's spoiler-ish. Watch at your own
risk.

JOY GALEOTTI PLAYS '20 QUESTIONS' WITH SOPHIA BUSH!
Bethany Joy Galeotti has been conducting mini
interviews with her friends and co-stars on her
personal blog. She's talked with a few of her
co-stars, and most recently she played "20
Questions" with Sophia Bush!
Check out some Sophia's answers below...
1
Were You Named After Anyone? I was named after
Sophia Loren. My father is a photographer, and when
I was born he was frequently doing photoshoots with
her. Both of my parents adore her, and loved her
spunk, elegance, and unique femininity. Plus it's a
very traditional Italian name. They wanted to honor
my heritage, and inspire those qualities in me. I
loved hearing as a child that I was named after such
a special lady.
2 Do You Like Your Own Handwriting? Actually,
I'm not really a fan of my handwriting. My mother
has the most gorgeous penmanship I've ever seen, and
my writing is more of a chicken scratch. I generally
write in all capital letters so that people stand a
chance!
3 What Would Your Superpower be if you could
choose one? It's a tie for me. I'd love to be able
to fly, so that I could get anywhere in an instant,
and have a zero carbon footprint when I travel. But
I'd also love it if I never had to sleep. Can you
imagine what could be done if you could use all 24
hours in every day!?
4 Are you an Optimist or Pessimist? I am an
eternal optimist. So much so that I get incredibly
worked up over injustice and inequality. I believe
in the good in people and the world. And I really
believe that if our youth mobilize to be a force of
equality, and a contingency of caring souls, we can
truly change the world. I know that is incredibly
optimistic, but I believe it down to the core of my
being.
5 What do you collect? I collect vintage
cameras. I have a few that are incredibly old, and
so beautiful. They're both a nod to my family and to
the beauty & panache of Old Hollywood. Movie magic,
the inspiration I find in photographs, it all begins
with a camera.
WWAY3: "ONE TREE HILL" DOWN TO FINAL FIVE DAYS
SHOOTING WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)
-- Another milestone counting down to the end of
an era here in Hollywood East. Today marked the
start of the last five days of shooting for "One
Tree Hill," according to the show's co-producer.
The end of the show has drawn plenty of fans to
town, including one woman today who worked on a
painting of storefront set.
STARNEWS:
"ONE TREE HILL" ACTORS SUM UP THE FINAL SEASON IN
ONE WORD
At the "Evening with One Tree Hill" event last week,
12 cast members and creator Mark Schwahn fielded a
variety of questions from a moderator and capacity
crowd at UNCW's Beckwith Recital Hall. The talked
about what the show has meant to them, what they
think of Wilmington, where "One Tree Hill" films,
and what they'd be doing if they weren't acting.
But when talk turned to the upcoming ninth and final
season, things turned cryptic.
Moderator Renee Vincent, a UNCW professor who has
guest starred on the show, asked each of the cast
members to sum up their character's experiences in
the final season in one word.
The results range from obvious to silly, random to
deep. |

MICHAEL MURRAY TALKS 'EVERLAST' WITH MTV AT NYCC
2011
As you know, Chad Michael Murray attended New York
City's Comic Con last month to promote his graphic
novel "Everlast". Chad sat down for an interview
with MTV's "GEEK" during the convention -- you can
watch two really great videos from his chat with MTV
below!
MTV'S "WHEN I WAS 17": BRYAN GREENBERG
MTV has a TV series where they talked to celebrities of all aspects of
entertainment and get a funny and/or interesting recount from their teenage
days. The show is called "When I Was 17" and they had "How To Make It In
America" star Bryan Greenberg ('Jake' from OTH seasons 1 & 3) give a story from
his 17th year. Watch the video below!
You know him as the hunky star of "One Tree Hill" and "How to Make It in
America"--but if you knew Bryan Greenberg in high school, you'd have known him as
a class-clown-turned-persona-non-grata due to his prankish public announcements.
(Aha! We knew that adorably smirky, quirky grin was hiding a past full of
shenanigans.) And in this clip from Bryan's upcoming appearance on "When I Was
17″ (airing Saturday at 11 a.m.) he reminisces about the time that a PSA went
SNAFU.
STARNEWS:
BURNING BOAT FESTIVAL RETURNS TO "ONE TREE HILL"
If you saw flames leaping from the foot of Market
Street in Wilmington this week, don't worry. It was
all part of filming of "One Tree Hill's" final
season.
The show's set designers parked a large pirate ship
at Riverfront Park so they could shoot across the
river from the "river court" at Battleship Park.
The shoot marks the return of the Burning Boat
Festival to Tree Hill. Fans first saw the fictional
celebration way back in season one. (Episode 3,
specifically.) So it's a nice way to bring the show
full circle. And also a cool way to show off the
Wilmington riverfront a few final times. |

MUSIC AND
WHAT NOT: TYLER HILTON INTERVIEW (PART 2)
via Music and What Not -- I had the chance to sit
down with singer-songwriter Tyler Hilton, before his
show at Eddie's Attic in Atlanta this past week, to
discuss his latest album in the works and his role
in this season's One Tree Hill. The concert was
absolutely incredible and even featured a
performance with One Tree Hill's, Michael May
("Chuck")!
How have your shows been lately? You have mostly
been doing "one-offs," correct?
Hilton: Yeah, I have been doing just "one-offs"
really. This show (Atlanta) is the only one this
weekend, but I have been doing shows every weekend
in September. I am trying to do most every weekend
this fall, because I'm recording the last season of
One Tree Hill in North Carolina. So I am just doing
things that I can fly/drive to really quick. | Continue reading...
Ostensibly, the show is about a couple (Connie
Britton and Dylan McDermott) who relocate to Los
Angeles with their teenage daughter to rebuild their
life after he cheats and she miscarries. But the
house they move into has mysterious ties to past
murders, something supernatural is going on in the
basement, a kleptomaniac neighbor (Jessica Lange,
gloriously chewing all the scenery she can find)
keeps walking in unannounced and the housekeeper
looks like a conservative matron in her 50s (Frances
Conroy) or a sexy strumpet in her 20s (Alexandra
Breckenridge) depending on who’s looking at her.
Throw in a mysterious burn victim (Denis O’Hare), an
emotionally disturbed therapy patient (Evan Peters)
and somebody walking around in head-to-toe latex,
and it’s easy to see how “Horror Story” defies
description. |

photographer Ian Shive for their show "Wild Life".
Well, James has officially gotten his own page and

If you didn't know, you can also follow his
on-screen mom,
@BarbAlynWoods! We LOVE that cast members are

There are a few more familiar faces returning for
One Tree Hill‘s ninth, and final, season — plus a
few new ones! Warner Bros. has confirmed that, not
only will Barbara Alyn Woods reprise her role as
Nathan’s (James Lafferty) pill-popping cougar mom
Deb for one episode, but Richard Burgi will also
recur as Brooke’s (Sophia Bush)
oft-discussed-but-never-seen father!
Of course, these might not be the happiest family
reunions — and they certainly won’t come without
some drama. As Sophia teased during
HollywoodLife.com‘s recent trip to One Tree Hill’s
Wilmington, N.C., set:
“You’re going to meet someone who’s very relevant to
Brooke’s life who you’ve wanted to see for eight
years.”
This is obviously huge news for longtime fans of the
series, especially those with a soft spot for
Brooke… and her daddy issues. |

ONE TREE
HILL FILMS EPISODE IN KINSTON
via Eyewitness News 9 -- KINSTON, N.C. - The
Kinston airport was slammed packed with camera
crews, extras, and fans hoping to get a glimpse of
their favorite celebrities.
"I wanted to meet Chad Michael Murray and all the
others stars of One Tree Hill,” said one fan.
The hit show, normally filmed in Wilmington, was
shooting a scene for the new season.
"Kinston airport happen to fit all the requirements
we needed. We pretty much have open access to the
airport itself, it's not very busy, and it's a great
opportunity and we took advantage of it,” said Chris
Allen, Locations Assistant for Warner Brothers
Television for the production of One Tree Hill.
