· JAMES TALKS TO BUDDYTV
BuddyTV.com interviewed James Lafferty about everything from the recently 5th annual charity game to what's in-store for his character, Nathan as well as what's ahead for the end of season five! · SOAPNET: OTH SET GOOFS OFF
We mentioned earlier this week that SOAPNet.com got a complete makeover, including their section of "One Tree Hill". As we said, they've added some exclusive video interviews with cast members like Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, Hilarie Burton, Sophia Bush, and this seasons newcomer, Michaela McManus.

One of the videos that caught our eye though, was a 'Goof Off' video! Check it out here to watch random members of the shows cast in various bloopers, making jokes and even having a case of memory loss. It's pretty funny!

· SOPHIA CANCELS CONAN AND UPFRONTS!
We just wanted to let you all know we got word that Sophia will not be appearing on Late Night with Conan O'Brien this Friday after all! She will also not be attending the The CW Upfronts next Tuesday in New York City. No one knows the exact reasons behind her cancellation, but it's rumored that she's getting her tonsils removed -- or she's filming a new movie. Those are two totally different and way out there reasons, but whatever the case -- we hope Sophia is doing well.

· SOPHIA & JAMES: COUPLE GOING STRONG?
JustJared.com - Sophia Bush and rumored boyfriend James Lafferty, both co-stars on "One Tree Hill", arrive together at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Monday.

The couple patiently waited for their luggage and for Sophia’s one-eyed pit bull, Patch, to arrive so she could load him into her car.

Late last month, Sophia, 25, and James, 22, were supposedly looking cozy in a corner at NYC’s Meatpacking hotspot 1Oak with her hand on his thigh.

Could this be another "One Tree Hill" real-life romance? (Sophia and co-star Chad Michael Murray were once upon a time married.)

SOAPnet talked with James Lafferty about what's ahead for the residents of Tree Hill and he wants you to know there's some crazy surprises in store. James talked more about the show, characters and his on-screen son, Jackson Brundage.

When it came to discussing the drama on the show and the final three episodes of the season -- James doesn't think Nathan's had it that bad, when you put it in perspective. "I think one season Peyton [Hilarie Burton] cried for 13 episodes," he jokes.

As for the final episodes of the season, the actor tells us, "There's a lot more story to be told with Nathan and Dan -- Dan drops a bomb on everyone. And what's going on with Lucas's [Chad Michael Murray] storyline -- I almost guarantee that no one's going to see that coming.". [ READ MORE... ]

· SOPHIA ON CONAN O'BRIEN THIS WEEK!
Sophia Bush will be making an appearance on Late Night with Conan O'Brien this upcoming Friday, May 9th. The show airs at 12:35am/11:35c on NBC - mark your calendars and don't miss it!

Sophia was recently named the #24th sexiest woman in FHM UK's 100 Sexiest Women of 2008!

· GAVIN DEGRAW RETURNS TO TREE HILL!
Many of you have been highly disappointed that One Tree Hill's opening credits to Gavin DeGraw's song, "I Don't Want To Be" was cut out this season, but don't worry because Mark Schwahn always has something special up his sleeve! Gavin will be appearing for the second time in the fifth season finale that's airs May 19th, and he'll record OTH's title song in Peyton's new recording studio! His first appearance was to perform "I Don't Want To Be" at Karen's Cafe in the first season.

· THEWB.COM IS BACK!
While The CW is here to stay, Warner Bros. Television Group announced that TheWB.com will be returning online to air classic Warner Bros. series, such as One Tree Hill as well as current hits. They're looking at this as the next generation of television - via the World Wide Web where you'll be able to watch full-length episodes of your favorite shows in the new way of internet technology.

They've also already created a Facebook group to promote the new Beta theWB.com! Read Warner Bros. Press Release for a list of the new and old favorites that will be streamed on the new internet TV network.

· 5TH ANNUAL CHARITY GAME RAISES OVER $65,000
With the help of his fellow One Tree Hill cast-mates, Sophia Bush, Bethany Joy Galeotti (who performed the National Anthem), Barbara Alyn Woods, Lee Norris, Antwon Tanner, Stephen Colletti, Stuart Lafferty, Jackson Brundage, Joe Manganiello, Michaela McManus, Lisa Erin Goldstein, Executive Producer Joe Davola, ONE TREE HILL series creator Mark Schwahn AND all of the fans that attended the 5th Annual James Lafferty/One Tree Hill Charity Basketball Game, James was able to raise $66,373!!

Proceeds from the charity game will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®, researching cures and treating children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases, Wilmington Family YMCA and Winnie's Garden, offering assistance toward the funding, welfare and support of animal shelters and homeless pets.


The game took place in Wilmington, North Carolina (where the show is filmed) on April 26th. Over a thousand tickets were sold out almost immediately when they went on sale March 29th. Thank you to all the fans that came out to the game to support James and the rest of cast while helping to raise over $65,000 for such important causes!

The One Tree Hill beauty was previously married to costar Chad Michael Murray, after a whirlwind romance, but sadly split after only five months of marriage, when reports surfaced that Chad fooled around with Paris Hilton on the set of House of Wax. Now, Page Six is reporting that Sophia was getting cozy with the other male OTH heartthrob, James Lafferty, who plays Nathan.

FRIDAY - APRIL 25, 2008

· WILL OTHWEBnet BE AT THE GAME?
That has been the most asked question this week, and unfortunately no we will not be there this year. We had every intention of going to the game to bring you tons of coverage and photos, we even had the trip planned out. However, we are not attending due to family obligations; one of our sisters is ready to have a baby any day now and it's been very tricky. Please, keep her and the baby in your prayers that everything goes smoothly.

So, even though we won't be there, we hope all of you that will be in attendance have an AMAZING time. If you would like to submit fan photos afterwards, EMAIL US. :)

· LIVE BROADCAST FROM THE GAME
Tomorrow at 11 AM EST there will be a LIVE broadcast from the 5th Annual James Lafferty One Tree Hill Charity Basketball Game! · CHARITY GAME UPDATE
In addition to the cast that is already confirmed - Michaela McManus, Joe Manganiello and Stuart Lafferty will also be in attendance.

REMINDER: Tickets and wrist bands will be available at WILL CALL the day of the event at 8AM. You must have a valid form of identification, such as a photo ID, as well as your PROOF OF PURCHASE receipt to pick up your tickets. For those of you who had tickets purchased from another party, you must STILL bring the PROOF OF PURCHASE receipt, and a copy of the buyers driver's license and/or photo ID.

All tickets for the game are SOLD OUT, there will not be any available on game day. YOU MUST have both a ticket and wristband to be allowed entrance. Also, if you plan on purchasing an merchandise or participating in the auction; everything is CASH ONLY!

· ONE TREE HILL COMES IN STRONG

ONE TREE HILL SCORES STRONG WEEKLY GROWTH,
WINS THE NIGHT WITH TEENS AND FEMALE TEENS

ONE TREE HILL (1.4/3) was up week-to-week with F12-34 (3.1/8, +7%), Teens (2.2/7, +16%) and Female Teens (3.2/9, +28%). In fact, the veteran drama achieved its best performance since January 8th and its second-highest rating this season-to-date in F12-34. Additionally, ONE TREE HILL ranked #1 in the 9pm hour and for the night overall with Teens and Female Teens. It also placed second in the time slot in W18-34 (3.1/8) and F12-34, finishing among the evening’s top five shows in both demos. Furthermore, ONE TREE HILL held or built on its GOSSIP GIRL lead-in across all key measures.

· TV BY NUMBERS - RATINGS FOR LAST NIGHT
In the very early overnight results, Gossip Girl got a 1.8/3 - slightly better than its last original episode on January 9, when it followed the pitiful (and cancelled) Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants it got a 1.7/3 (household rating/share) and 2.27 million viewers. Notably, One Tree Hill which followed Gossip Girl last night got a 2.0/3 with no press, no buzz, and no Google ad spend.

Whatever the final overnight numbers, Gossip Girl will not have eclipsed 3 million viewers. READ MORE...

The snoopers caught Chad on the way back to his trailer, Quaker's rice cakes and strawberry Smucker's jam in hand while dressed in character --- well sort of. · ONE TREE HILL - 'WTF'?
We're sure you've seen the controversial "OMG" ads for Gossip Girl right? If not look to your left, for one of many.

We've gotten word from an anonymous source that similar "WTF" ads were made for One Tree Hill, which now follows Gossip Girl on the CW Monday s@ 9PM. However, our source claims that the CW planned on running both advertisements for new episodes of each show, but decided to cancel the OTH ones and only run those for GG. We think the ads for both shows would've been perfect together for promoting the all-new Monday night line-up! What do you think?
