Multi-talented actor, writer and director Paul Johansson stars as Dan Scott,
Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan's (James Lafferty) father, who is
struggling to recover from his latest attack and seemingly wants to put his
family back together, in the hit drama "One Tree Hill."
Born and raised in Spokane, Washington, Johansson was an avid athlete like his
father, a former NHL player. After playing with the Canadian National team and
leading his University to the Canadian College Championship game, he began
contemplating a professional career in basketball overseas. Johansson chose to
close the door on his athletic career and instead set his sights on Hollywood.
Making his Hollywood debut on the soap opera "Santa Barbara," he soon moved on
to a succession of television roles in such shows as "Parker Lewis Can’t Lose,"
"Beverly Hills, 90210," "Lonesome Dove: The Series," "Highlander: The Raven" and
"Ed McBain's 87th Precinct." Johansson also made memorable guest appearances in
"Dharma and Greg" and "The Drew Carey Show." He also had a recurring role in
"The District."
On the big screen, Johansson played Sally Field's soap opera husband in the film
"Soapdish." His other movie credits include "When the Party's Over," "The Big
Picture," "She's So Lovely," "A Wilderness Station" and "Carnival of Souls."
Johansson can next be seen in "Alpha Dog," opposite Bruce Willis and Sharon
Stone.
As a filmmaker, Johansson wrote and directed the acclaimed 19-minute film short,
"Conversations in Limbo," which opened the Toronto Short Film Festival. This
film was honored at the Nashville Independent Film Festival and ultimately
acquired by the Sundance Film Channel.
Johansson was recently awarded two Emmys for the Showtime television film he
wrote and directed, "The Incredible Mrs. Ritchie." The film stars Gena Rowlands
and James Caan and was produced by Nick Cassavetes.
Currently, Johansson lives in Los Angeles. |

Sophia Bush plays Brooke Davis, a feisty cheerleader and temptress in the hit
drama "One Tree Hill."
Bush recently completed production on the feature "John Tucker Must Die," with
Jesse Metcalf, Brittany Snow and Ashanti, as well as the independent film "Stay
Alive," with Frankie Muniz and Samaire Armstrong.
Her first movie role was in the comedy "Van Wilder," with Ryan Reynolds and Tara
Reid. Bush played Sally, a freshman in college who harbored a huge crush on
Reynolds' character. She also appeared in HBO's "Point of Origin," with Ray Liotta and John Leguizamo, and the independent film
"Learning Curves." Bush was most recently seen in the feature film "Supercross," co-starring Daryl Hannah
and Robert Patrick.
Bush was featured in a three-episode arc in the drama "Nip/Tuck," as a devious
teenage bisexual. She also made a guest appearance on The WB's "Sabrina The
Teenage Witch," as Sabrina’s arch rival.
Born and raised in Pasadena, California, Bush started her career on her high
school theater stage. Having been crowned the Pasadena Rose Queen, Bush quickly
attracted attention from Hollywood.
Bush is an avid scrap-booker. She enjoys photography, reading and spending time
with her friends.

No stranger to television, Barbara Alyn Woods plays Deb Scott, Nathan's (James
Lafferty) mother, who must deal with an estranged son and a broken marriage, on
the drama "One Tree Hill."
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Woods performed regularly at The Victory
Gardens Theatre before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her film career.
On the big screen, Woods appeared in the feature film "Striptease," with Demi
Moore. Other film credits include "Circuitry Man," "I Downloaded a Ghost," "Frankie Starlight,"
"The Waterdance," with Eric Stoltz, and "Flesh and Bone,"
with Dennis Quaid.
Woods is well-known for her role on the television series "Honey, I Shrunk the
Kids: The TV Show," where she played Diane Szalinski for three seasons. She has
guest starred on numerous hit television shows including "American Dreams," "Providence,"
"Ally McBeal," "Touched by an Angel," "Murder She Wrote," "Seinfeld," "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and
"Wings." In addition, Woods was
a recurring character on the award-winning show "Picket Fences" and "Dream On" and starred in the telepicture
"House of Secrets and Lies."
Woods and her husband, assistant director John Lind, reside in Los Angeles and
Wilmington, North Carolina with their two daughters.

Hometown: Greenville, North Carolina
Lee Norris returns for as Marvin "Mouth" McFadden, kindhearted, future sport
reporter and friend to Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray).
Familiar to audiences since the age of 9, Norris made his television debut in
"The Torkelsons," followed by "Almost Home" and "Boy Meets World," where he
quickly became a fan favorite as "Stuart Minkus." Other appearances include
"Touched By An Angel" and "Dawson’s Creek."
Norris' film credits include Goldie Hawn’s directorial debut, "Hope," and "The
Journey of August King." Norris recently wrapped production on the indie comedy"Surf School" and will next be seen in David Fincher's crime thriller
"Chronicles."
Norris is a graduate of Wake Forest University and currently resides in
Wilmington, North Carolina, where "One Tree Hill" is filmed.
